29A – Venture Concept No. 2
Opportunity:
Many people struggle with the fact that they do not know what application they need to download in order to get the unmet need. Having to ask around to see what application is the best one to get services is a real hassle. Many college students have to download many applications in order to get services, but the idea of only having one is phenomenal. Having one application that has the ability to meet a lot of services. As well as creating features that people need such as addressing the whole college bars deals with linking the application with big services such as car services, book rentals, cleaning service etc. My potential customers will people that use the cell phone regularly to get services done, and also to look for deals/coupons etc. Nobody thinks that having one application that meets a lot of demands is possible because nobody has done something similar before that is why my business idea is innovating the technology market. This is a big opportunity to build something that nobody has ever built and to simply have a lot of features in one. Helping services that people regularly use such as car services with their marketing through the app etc.
Innovation:
The application basically is a normal app that you log in select the city you are in, and many services and options pop up to the screen. You select whichever service you need to, and the options start to pop app. For this to happen I need to have the services and companies linked to my business. For the college bars example, it would be that my app would say once selected, when is each bar having a happy hour, price, openenig time etc. It will also have coupons through the app to go into clothing stores, movies etc. I would have to do a sales pipeline and see how much I will charge to the services once the app is running.
Venture Concept:
My application will meet with a lot of unmet needs and save the time of a lot of people to download a lot of applications, instead of that they will have to download only one. Once the people that use technology to look up for services know that there is one new application that has a lot of services and features in it, people will go for it. Once i get the services i want to and create some features to my application, i will start with the marketing of my application itself.
The three minor elements:
1) My most important resource will be that i have family members that have businesses and know people that own big services and companies. That would be very useful to make them be part of my business idea for their marketing. Since my business idea is a lot of services in ONE app competitors will have a hard time copying my ideas.
2) After having accomplished the application with services and features, i would like to have the big fishes such as Amazon, Walmart etc. Also, having airlines linked to my application, basically I will chase all the famous services and be bringing them in my application.
3) If everything goes as planned in 5 years i will be developing my application even more with innovating business ideas. As an entrepreneur in 5 years, i want to be with a lot of businesses and involved in the real estate as well.
2) Summary of the feedback:
After reading my constructive feedback from my classmates, they did support my idea that my business idea has a lot of potentials. There is a big venture concept that creates opportunities for the customer to benefit from a service that my business will provide. My application has a unique marketing feature which is phenomenal for businesses growth.
3) I did not have to change anything in my venture concept based on the feedback i received. The feedback mostly commented that supported my idea of what is the potential of my business idea.

As I've commented before, any product that saves time has a chance to succeed because in today's world faster supercedes better. Everyone is always moving and busy even kids are on set schedules nowadays. For college students time is crucial even more so for those of us who work and or have social life and organizations. And since we're all pretty new to adulting we are all finding that shitstorms seem to all happen at once and with the limited time we are granted it becomes way more stressful when we have to screen through googe searches to find someone who can help, your concept is solid great work!

ReplyDeleteI love the fact that our venture concepts are similar. Great minds really do think alike. As I have told you before, this idea is going to be lucrative. The happy hour specials are going to be great tactic to get your app in the spotlight. I feel like once you gain momentum with your app, business will begin to flow. Buen suerte hermano!
