Testing the Hypothesis, Part 2

 Testing the Hypothesis, Part 2

Recap: The opportunity presented in part one of the assignment was an application that meets with college students demands. Instead of downloading 100 apps for different purposes why not only get one with many options and services with it. After doing my five interviews I have summarized all the information in the following:
Who: The people who lie outside the boundary of my application would be people who already have contracts with specific services and do not use cell phone’s application regularly.
What: The need for the application has to do with time, cell phone space, and efficiency. The fact that only having one application that meets the demand of many college students is incredible. After conducting my interviews, the five of them answered the same, which is that they would love to have only one application that meets their demands. Instead of downloading 100 apps and doing a little research to see what application meets what demand, having only a few or one is better. The less the better.
Why:  Yes, the need is different. There are many applications out in the market, but there is no such application that meets many demands.
Inside the boundary
Outside the boundary
Who is in: College students that use applications looking for services such as car service, book rental, cleaning service etc.
Who is not: College students that already have contracts with specific services and/or do not use their cell phone’s app that much.
What the need is:  Meet many demands in only one application instead of downloading many.
What the need is not: a complete alternative to finding most of the needs in one app.
Why the need exists: To save time and phone space downloading many apps.
Alternative Explanations: Services can use the app as a marketing since the app meets many demands, many services would like to be part of it.

  1. My idea is also an app that helps make peoples lives a little easier. I like that your app would centeralize all of the stressful little things we have to deal with on a daily. If it helps save time it could really end up making lots of money through either advertising or users themselves. I know I never have any icloud storage left.
