Forming an opportunity belief

1) There should be an application with the needs of all college students.
2) The internet has become something that it is almost impossible to live without in this generation. On average, a regular college student has everywhere between 3-6 different apps for different services. Now imagine a single application with all the needs in? For example, a college student needs car maintenance, fast food delivery, books rental, bar’s happy hour calendar etc. There is no such app in the market right now, and I believe that an application like this could change the whole game. Having different application for specific services most of the time is a real hassle. That is why having a single application that has all the needs in is something that a college student would love to have. The application would also be such a good marketing for all the companies and/or services.
3) Generally, every college student that uses this type of services.
4 & 5) After talking with prototypical customers, their views agree with my belief. They shared with me that they also hate having to download every single app for every single service. They also expressed that it is really frustrating having to search what application has what service. The fact that you could get a single application to get your car service schedule done, order food and books, knowing the entire bar happy hour schedule drives college students crazy. College students tend to travel a lot all over America to visit friends, so having an application that tells you all the services around you is exceptional. With these prototypical customers iterations, it has only furthered my belief that there is a need that needs to be met out in the market. The passion of my prototypical customers has definitely surprised me even more, because they got really anxious about the idea. My prototypical customers also made me realize that the application should be linked with the university.

7) My idea of the opportunity still stands, after having the iterations with the prototypical customers only strengthened my hunt to meet the need of the belief. I believe that it is accurate since I heard a lot from my customers and they gave me a good feedback. Now I know that this idea of opportunity could work. Every entrepreneur should ask all the customers and take all the ideas to get a good feedback. Because the fact that if there is no customer there is no business is what should motivate the business owner to get as much feedback as possible.

  1. I like the way you defined what it is needed for the process of entering an school and the interacting with prototype customers. I love the way you define it as an interaction. In my concept of business, I understand that feedback is an important part of the success of a company when the customers are happier you will succeed in the service.
